Our Blogger Templates: What's in Here?
Thanks for visiting Our Blogger Templates. This blog is for all bloggers who wants to use new templates to replace the all-too-common templates provided by Blogger. There are tons of other templates out there, so, what makes this one different? I designed them with the priority of giving you huge freedom of modifying the templates completely - just from the Fonts and Colors panel.
When designing the Blogger templates here, I focus on the users' need to have full control of changing or modifying the templates easily from the Fonts and Colors tab in the Layout panel. This means that you can easily change the colors and fonts of almost all elements (background colors, font colors, font type and size) in these templates without going through the XML and CSS code. This is the easiest way to make your template personal and unique without tweaking the code.
List of Contents
I've also added some tips and guides that I've learned throughout building this blog. Rather than letting those tips in fade away slowly from my thoughts, I have them posted here for your convenience. To give you some ideas, those tips can help you improve your blog ranking, earn more from Adsense, get more subscribers, etc.
Share These Templates
If you see templates or posts worthy of getting a praise, you can promote them to other bloggers by clicking the Bookmark button at the bottom of each post. From there, you can choose which sites to share the content with (i.e. Digg, Facebook, Del.icio.us, StumbleUpon, etc). I'd be the first to thank you on your effort of supporting the well-being of this blog.

Is there an email addy where I can write you?

You have really done a hard work Zaff
Thumbs up! :-)
Thanks for the easy tutorials, i didn't even thought about to design my own template, but now i have :-)
I'm using one of your beautiful templates at http://poppiness.blogspot.com
I'm having some frustrations with customizing it in the few ways I need it - such as the width of the side bars and the main area. I don't need a lot of work but some little dinking would help bring it up a notch. What would take me days would probably take you no more than an hour.
I'm willing to pay you for your time (paypal?) Do you do that sort of thing and if so, how can I contact you?
I'm also having problems with the sidebars on a 3-column template. They look fine in "preview", but when it is published the right column moves below the left one.
Do you have a solution for this?
Hello,
I love your templates! I've been doing a search for a few days and it is ever so frustrating to find just the right match. Would you be able to assist me? E-mail me for details.
Hi... I was trying to use your Greenery Template for my long-time blog... could you please help me use haloscan commenting with it instead?
Hi OBT
I m a big fan and thank a lot for the gr8 help u have provided thru tutorials n templates.
I m using your 3 column template "simple blue" on one of my blogs and its charming.
But i have a problem with it and i need ur help..
When i load the header image with option "instead of title and description" selected in blogger, the image doesn't show up correctly.it is cropped from bottom and only 10 % of image's upper part shows up.I looked at HTML but couldn't find anything to tweak. With the other option("behind title") it appears perfectly. Why its so?
A little hint wud be a gr8 help.
Thanx again for everything..
Hav a nice day
Sid, try this page page, see if it helps.
Hi,
I am using your blog template called perfection. However if i see html of my individual posting it shows
title "Chilli Flakes: How to get millions of backlinks" title
Now Chilli Flakes is name of my site and as a result instead of blog title the search engines are indexing the whole phrase "Chilli Flakes: How to get millions of backlinks" whereas I want the site name to be eliminated from title "How to get millions of backlinks". Can you let me know how site name can be eliminated. Please mail me chilliflakes01@gmail.com. You and your blog is just outstanding. Thanks
hi there! wanna ask,how do I enabled the 'navigation' looks in the your template? I looked through the preview picture, but when I've installed one of your template, the 'navigation' doesn't showed up?
I need your help on this. Thanks in advance!
Angela, I'm not sure which 'navigation' you're talking about, but try this: http://www.ourblogtemplates.com/2008/01/how-to-get-rid-of-blogger-navigation.html
I love your templates! I'm using one now on my blog (with a new photo on the banner and a few tweaks) at http://www.fitnessfig.com
Hi! I love the three column templates on your site. So much so, I was wondering if there was any way I could customize one of your templates so that the main (center) column would be 645 px for my new blog: celebrityblackman.blogspot.com? I have a bit of a weakness for templates with wide middle columns.
Please get back to me as soon as you can as I am preparing to launch the website soon.
The charcoal template that I've been using (from bloggertricks.com) is giving me problems that I don't even want to begin to go into! LOL!
I'm sorry. I forgot to leave my email address:
celebrityblackman@gmail.com
SG, you can read the tutorials we've provided in this blog to learn about some details about how to tweak your templates. All we know about template designing is in the tutorials anyway.
In the tutorials, there's a section about changing section width.
OBT, I am not totally code illiterate (but not that knowledgable either), but I am having a hell of a time trying to figure out where to add my feebburner code to get stats. I try to follow the directons on feedburner, but I cant find the specific code that they talking about to paste the feedburner code. I am currently using your template "Photoblog II". Would you be able to tell me where in the html I can paste that code?
Thank you!
Great templates! After much searching and even purchasing one custom one which I ended up not liking, I am glad I found our site. I really appreciate the customizations, the expandable posts written in already, and will certainly leave your credits in the code.
By the way, kudos to you for posting Obama's video!
Yes, we can!
HI!
I recently resigned from my job as a 3d Artist on a broadcasting company and want to pursue my career on blogging. You know, writing and making money at the comfort of my home. I am conducting research on this and found your site on the process. And very thankful I did. Your site was the trigger of really pushing my blogging career. This site's VERY informational content made it easier for me to know everything about weblog. I used one of your template called ISFAHAN and it's layout was great. I will read all the articles and apply it all. Thank you. i wish you guy / guys all the best!
BE HAPPY!
P.S. If you have time, please reply upon this message so that I know you did read this.
I've tried to modify the size of 3 coloumn template, from 880 width to 970 width (px). It worked, but when I'm into the Page element, I found the view of page element not full. I can't explain but u can see the pic by this direct link:
http://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee265/leo4kusuma/Misc/2008-12-05_192025.jpg
Can help me to fix the view of template on the page element?
Have you tried using a different browser? I had that problem in Safari but it works fine with Firefox for me.
Hi, i'm using your your template, "darken". Thanks for such an impressive and flexible template.
However, i found there's a problem with the comments section. When i set the "post comments" to embedded below post, the comment form won't show (in the posts). Using other options ie popup, fullpage; there's no problem.
Is there any solution to this problem, or it's just i have the problem?
Thanks
Thanks so much for these templates. Your designs allow tons of flexibility that I haven't seen in any other alternative blogger templates. Cheers.
I have one problem with implementation and I can't see where it is in the code. It's driving me bonkers.
The site is http://carolinaregion.blogspot.com.
When I compose a post, the "enter" key doesn't give me a hard return... it's like it's ignoring line breaks. Shift+enter works fine, but I've got over a thousand old posts that are formatted all strange. If you look at the Tag structure, at the bottom of the post, you'll see it's also justifying the posts, instead of left align, but I'm not doing that myself.. it seems its part of the template. Any help with fixing this would make this just about the perfect design for my blog.
Thanks for a great templace.
I have been using one of your great templates and love it, well today my 2 right side bars moved to the middle bottom..but on my layout page they are where they go ! and when someone clicks to leave a comment and on some of my tabs the blog looks like it should..why is it doing this on my home page ?

Hi, OBT,
I am using your Perfection template and I have done wonders in customizing it, thanks to your organized template layout. However, there seems to be a problem with the comments area.
I customized it by adding a background image, but this customization only shows up properly on IE (that's right, IE) and not on Mozilla. I have spent many hours trying to get it to work on Mozilla but to no avail. Can you please help me?
Take a look at this page of my blog on both browsers to see what I'm talking about:

Hello OBT,
I love your templates - I have integrated Shine for my blog and for the most part, it works great. I have a couple of problems though that I can't resolve, so I was hoping that you could help me.
The issues are:
1) In IE6, the middle pane (blog) displays below the sidebar pane leaving the middle empty. It displays properly in IE7 and Firefox.
2) I can't seem to add AdSense into the blog itelf or between the blogs. I've tried using the settings for between blogs but it doesn't display any ads.
3) I've been having issues integrating some widgets, which appear to work fine for other blogs. In particular, the Amazon Buy Product widget (iframe) and the Share This widget.
I would really appreciate your help with these items. My blog site is: http://newhealthydiva.blogspot.com/
Thanks very much,
Annmarie
PS please email me for the XML or screen shots in IE6

Hi OBT,
Like Annmarie, I am having a similar problem with the Shiny template. i have been using it for months with no problem, but about a month ago the Google Followers widget was updated automatically with a new version. From that point on, the template is messing up with ie6 and I think on ie7 from what I have heard from others. Whichever column I put the followers widget in, it will move the entire column to the bottom of the page below the bottom of the other two columns. I have tried everything and can't fix it. any ideas?

I love your templates and am using one at voice-activated.blogspot BUT I want to use the same design on my wordpress blog. Do you have a version of Professional or problogger that works with WP 2.7?
I converted my three blogs to your templates, and they look terrific. Very clean and professional and easy to customize. Thank you.

Hi Dzelque,
I also have a few questions about one of your GREAT templates that I've been using. How might I contact you? (in the "morning drink" template, I cannot get the "read more" code to work...)
Thanks!
