Functional Blog Posts Edit

Here's a page you'll get when you click on the Layout --> Page Elements --> Blog Posts Edit tab. You might have used a template that didn't work properly in that some of the options you checked in the boxes above didn't show up in your blog posts.

We've fixed all the newer templates so that all these options work fine. All of these templates are labeled BPE ok (Blog Posts Edit ok).

However, the old templates also work fine, except that you might find the boxes "Links to this post", "Show Quick Editing", and "Show Email Post Links" don't show up in the blog posts. No big deal actually, and it doesn't really affect much of your blogging anyway. And the "Links to this post" show up on the post-page below the Comment section anyway, so you won't lose out on that.

If you're using older templates where the Blog Posts Edit Pencil button might not be working. If you want it turned on, read this instruction.

And if your 'Links to this Post' link, or the Backlink, is not working, read this instruction.

any chance that it is possible to edit the html to allow the post edit option on the older blogs such as the minimalist f?

your blog templates are the best I have seen anywhere and thanks so much for sharing.

OK tried that and it did not work. The template I am using is Solitude. I also use Photoblog and Minimalist F. Although I only tried it on the Solitude template...

That did the trick! Thank you again! I really appreciate it. The pencil is a small thing but for me, when I am tweaking a difficult post, it sure helps.

Help! I've installed the Columns template in my blog, but when I checked the reactions and star ratings, they don't show up. :-S

I'm using Photoblog III (which I love - thank you!). I've deselected Labels and saved that change, but the Labels still appear. Any suggestions?

I just started a blog and I am using "Shush" template. I like it very much.
However, I have a problem with displaying the post date. I checked the Date option in "Blog Posts Edit - Post page options". But the post date does not show up in my blog.

Any suggestions??

Thanks

I love, love, LOVE the shush template but was wondering if there is a fix to the post date problem? All my post dates just vanished when I uploaded this template. Thanks.

Hi I love my new template! Just downloaded this one, but just wondering it it's possible to 'center' the header image?
