OBT User Review:

You have the best templates! I've been downloading and dressing them up like dolls! :)

I'm not a designer nor am I coder. I'm just your average person who wants a unique but nice looking blog. You've designed these amazing templates so that changing the colors, fonts, backgrounds is sooooo easy!

Your site is just what I was looking for because Blogger templates -- well they're so cookie cutter. But with yours -- well it feels like the possibilities are endless!

Thank you so much for all your hard work!

Simple n' Sweet is a minimalist and extremely flexible template with flexible multiple columns (2, 4, 5, 6, or 7 columns). You can change the columns, all background and font colors, and font types without doing any coding.

The wide sidebar is 300 px wide, perfect for square Adsense boxes. The two narrow sidebars are 132 px wide. All the 3 lowerbar columns are 250 px wide.

Comment Box
To have your comment box function properly, go to Settings > Comments, look for the Comment Form Placement and click on the 'Embedded below post' button. That's all you have to do if you use this template. The codes have already been modified for you. See this post for more detail.

Features
Important: Change your template without loosing any sidebar widgets.
Help links: template installation guides and instructions.

Header Image

To put the header image in your blog, click on the image below to open up a larger size and save it into your computer. Then, upload the image using the Layout > Page Elements > Header Edit tab. If you want to use your own image for the header, the image width has to be 980 pixels (with any height).

Terms of Use
This new XML Blogger template is free but please value our hours of design work by leaving the credit at the bottom of the screen to Ourblogtemplates.com intact. But you can label whatever you want at the blog footer.

Very nice templates... quick question. The sidebars on many of these designs have a wider side-bar followed by two 1/2 sized side-bars below them. Are there any templates that allow the stack of sidebars to alternate (ie: looking from top to bottom 1 wide, 2 1/2 sized and then 1 wide again? (If that makes sense).

I fell in love with this template at first sight and I've used it for my cooking blog. Everyone loves the new design!

However, the page elements has all gone crazy! And now I can't even edit the posts features in page elements. Please help!

Here how it looks like http://img10.imageshack.us/img10/6822/pageelements.jpg

And another thing is I use Windows LiveWriter as my editor, and previously all the alignments are alright but if you notice the recent posts the alignment's out of place and I would appreciate if you can help me point out the errors cos I'm still learning abt CSS

Many thanks

I was able to quickly set-up this template at my blog - South Beach Diet Journal. I love the minimalist look - easy to customize too. My page elements has gone crazy though - unlike previous templates where it had always been steady. Any improvements?

Love it! The only glitch is that the text "Posted by [user name]" is not showing up in the post footer. All the other info (links, comments, tags) does.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Stacy

This is my very first try at downloading templates. This was so easy to do (and I'm a rookie). Thanks so much.

Lovr your templates, but it is not possible to add automatically "ads inside posts" with the blogger feature?

I had to add links ads manually in my blog:

I just downloaded and installed this template - cannot wait for my designer friend to help me with a new header and colors - this is exactly what I was looking for, so thank you.

One question: Some of my widgets seem to be bleeding over the edge of the right columns. Is there an easy way to adjust/fix?

thank you,

I love this layout, but I am having problems using Windows Live Writter with it too. There is somehing within the template that won't allow me to use the 'Enter' key when posting in Windows Live Writter. I have tested this on my other blog layouts and have no problems. Do you have any suggestions?

Jami January 07, 2010 1:49 PM

I am using this template for my personal blog and love it...but, I can't use my enter key in Live Writer. Do you have a fix for this?

Dencio January 10, 2010 1:17 AM

Hi There!

I am encountering the same problem as Jami and Elizabeth. After Installing the Template, I cannot use the Enter Key on Windows Live Writer. The post just shows as one long line with no spaces in between paragraphs. I love this template and I hope there is a Fix for this? Anyone? Please Help.

Thanks,
Dencio

This template veers-off markedly to the left from center in IE-6, while it is ok in firefox. The footer however stays put. (I observed this problem with other blogs as well, that implemented this template in IE)

Plz rectify the error. Everything else(so far) is gr8 with this template(SweetnSimple).

Also, how can I implement google search box in line with the menu linked list? a translate button in between.. and social bookmarking icons - twitter, facebook, RSS & google bookmarks, at the top right (all inside the oranges image of header)

I'm new to blogging and a code-semiliterate. I've problems with customization and I need your help.

This template is fantastic but I just could not customize it, to my needs & liking.. Help! I'm not able to launch my blog and I'm frustrated.

Here is my mail id: coolfreak09@gmail.com

I'm gonna leave the template credits at the bottom, markedly clear but not in an iframe kinda form. Is this OK?

smartlifestop.com

But first, How can I contact you? for all that customization, I need.

Maven of Savin' March 04, 2010 11:41 AM

HELP!! I cannot get "older posts" links to show on the bottom. They only show if you click on an individual post. Home page or any searches does not have any navigation. I tried a pages hack and it would not show either.

Also, any way to have one background with posts/sidebars scrolling over it - I put in a background and cannot make the other colors transparent?

i did a test run with this template and i notice that there isn't an option to embed / upload videos using blogger. Also, when i want to change the colors of respective borders, it doesn't change. is there a flaw somewhere?

My comments are enabled but no matter what I do, "comments" does not show up at the bottom of my posts. I'm going crazy with this- how do I fix it?
