Fantastic. That was a really annoying glitch to troubleshoot. The code walk-through plus user comments about the preview and third party cookies in combination were exceptionally helpful!

Okay, I think my problem is that I recently got a new domain name (switched from the blogspot.com one) and for some reason, that's the reason why it doesn't allow me to quick edit.

Any way around this?

I have been looking for help on this for the longest time. Was even considering removing my theme just to be able to use the edit button. I hated going threough the customize link in the Navigational bar just to find the edit posts section.

BTW, I found out a little something else: what's really important to remember also is to allow third-party cookies. When all else fails, that WILL make the pencil show up.
